Seventh Report : The Egyptian Competitiveness Report 2010
The report benchmarks Egypt’s competitiveness; provides an update on the economy; introduces the topic of Green Transformation; and analyzes the energy and construction industries.
Green Transformation can be defined as “the transition to sustainable economic development that is energy efficient, low- carbon emitting, environmentally responsible and that creates a health, safe and pleasant environment for people”.
The reports recommend policies and projects to be adopted in the economy to assure the green transformation but it pays special attention to the green adaption to be applied in the field of energy and construction.
