Charles Polet Charles is a private sector development and SME investment specialist with 10 years of experience in capital raising advisory and impact investment in Africa and Asia, as well as 6 years in the corporate banking sector.  Charles currently manages the USAID Ghana and Financial Institutions portfolios of USAID West Africa Trade & Investment Hub, covering approximately $25 million in 21 transactions that aim to catalyze more than $200 million in private capital investments in West Africa. Charles has more than 18 years of experience in leveraged finance in New York and impact investments in Indonesia, India, Kenya, and Ghana.

Charles specializes in critical and quantitative analysis, strategic planning, frameworks, and stakeholder analysis. His passion for private sector engagment and project management allows him to leverage global insights into innovation and sustainable solutions.

He holds an MBA with concentration in Strategic Operations and Entrepreneurship from Cornell University and a BA in International Business and Psychology from the University at Buffalo.
